In my opinion, in psychiatry, treatment with only medications without therapy cannot bring about real progress ; even less, healing. This is because treatment of a symptom rarely takes the cause into consideration. However, therapy, with or without medication, makes it possible to explore and eventually to resolve problems, thanks to a well meaning and receptive dialogue.
